🏛️✨ Hill Day Highlights! ✨🏛️ We are so proud of Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Maus for representing Wellford Academy at Hill Day at the State Capitol! 💙🐺 They attended as Teachers of the Year and as members of the D5 Teacher Forum — such an incredible honor! 👏 They visited the Senate and House, were recognized during today’s meeting, toured the Capitol, and had the opportunity to speak with our state representatives. Thank you for proudly representing the Wolfpack and for being outstanding leaders in education! 💙✨

Mrs. Collins’ 2nd graders are review pros! 🧮✨ To get ready for our math quiz on adding & subtracting 10s and 100s, we had a Math Review Relay! 🏃‍♂️➕➖ Students teamed up and raced to solve equations as fast as they could — working together, cheering each other on, and sharpening those math skills! 💯🔥 Way to go, Wolfpack! 🐺

Tonight at the board meeting, we had the honor of recognizing one of our incredible board members, Mrs. Meredith Gergley! 📚✨ A special thank you to Jackson Maus for proudly presenting Mrs. Gergley with a book from our school as a small token of appreciation for her dedication, leadership, and support of our students and staff. We are so grateful for board members who invest their time and heart into our school community.

📚✨ Special Guest Readers Alert! ✨📚 Our third graders had some very special visitors today from Walmart! 🛒💙 Thank you to our amazing guest readers for sharing your time and love of reading with our Wolfpack scholars. There’s nothing better than building community partnerships and inspiring a love for books! 🐺❤️

🧑‍🔬STEM Night is coming, and we are getting ready for a HOWLING good time! 🐺(March 5th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM) If you are planning to come, please make sure to return your RSVP form to your teacher as soon as possible! We need to know how many Wolf families are joining us so we can have enough Family Meal Deals & Science Kit Surprises ready for everyone. 🚨Don’t forget, we’ll have awesome STEM stations, cool activities, and a special take-home science surprise for every family! 5th Grade GT put their engineering skills to the test! 🌉💡
Students were challenged to build the strongest bridge possible using only classroom materials — with one big catch: it had to include at least 4 triangles! 🔺🔺🔺🔺

Huge congrats to Vitaly and Simon for taking the win! 🏆 Their bridge held up all of our robotics kits… and even Vitaly! 😲👏

💕Spreading the love this Valentine’s Day!
Ms. Walts' First Graders had the opportunity, at home, to address and sign their Valentine cards. Then they sorted and delivered the mail to each of their classmates. The day ended with each student opening and reading all of their mail. Such fun and what a great learning experience!

🎶🔊 Sound Science in 4th Grade! 🔊🎶

Our 4th graders had an awesome visit from Watershed as they explored Vibration, Sound, Pitch & Music! 🎵

Students investigated how different variables affect the pitch and volume of sound using tambourines, tuning forks in water, slinkies, and rubber bands. 🥁🔔

The biggest hit? Watching the tuning forks make the water splash! 💦 The kiddos were amazed seeing sound waves in action!

Hands-on learning + science fun = a great day in 4th grade! 🐺✨

Special delivery for Ms. Phillip’s class! ✉️ From our classroom to real authors… and back again! 📬📖 Ms. Phillip’s class received replies to the letters they sent earlier this year — talk about inspiring! ✨🐺

Number bonds + hearts = math magic in Ms. Gregory’s class! 💕➕ Our Wolfpack learners are adding it all up with love! 🐺✨

Mrs. Benoit’s class brought the fun to PE with a high-energy game of Roll-A-Snowman! ❄️⛄️🏃‍♀️ Congratulations to our winners — Alina Matev, Evelyn Pshichenkp, and Maryam Bulboka — for rolling their way to victory! 🎉👏 We love seeing teamwork, movement, and big smiles in the gym. Way to go, girls! 💙✨

Leadership In Action❤️ Our ML Ambassadors were hard at work this morning welcoming a new student to our school family! 🐺 They helped make the first day feel a little less scary and a lot more special. We’re so proud of the kindness and leadership they show taking the time to get to know each new student ❤️
