✨ Student Spotlight! ✨ Big shoutout to Braylee in Mrs. Crocker’s class! She earned all 10 punches on her punch card and proudly turned it in for one of her favorite rewards—reading a book to her classmates. 📚💛 She did such an amazing job, and her whole class loved it! 🎻 DR Hill’s orchestra visited today, giving our 5th graders an exciting peek into middle school music! Our students loved hearing the instruments up close and imagining themselves in the program next year. 🎶❤️

✨ 3rd Grade + The Chaser Initiative! ✨
Our 3rd graders had the coolest visit from the Chaser Initiative, an organization inspired by Chaser the Border Collie—the world-famous dog who learned more than 1,000 words! 🐶📚

The program teaches students how curiosity, practice, and a love of learning can lead to incredible things… just like they did for Chaser. Their team brought along a trained dog to help students make real connections to those lessons, and you should’ve seen the smiles when that furry friend walked into each classroom!

We’re so grateful for the Chaser crew and the way they sparked joy, wonder, and big learning moments for our Wolfpack today. ❤️🐺💫

🐾Paw Patrol Lunch and Learn 🍔 Duty never stops for these pack members! Today they met to discuss safety tips and how to make the Paw Patrol even better! 🐾❤️

😂✨ Ms. Walts’ class took “six sevennnnnn” to a whole new level today!
Instead of just doing the chant and hand motions, they used 6 and 7 in their math lesson — writing and solving their own word problems like absolute legends.

You’ve never seen such serious math faces followed by such dramatic “six sevennnnnn” energy.

Learning? ✔️
Unnecessary but hilarious sound effects? Also ✔️😂

These kids understood the assignment AND the trend. 😎

Today we held the very first meeting of our Multilingual Ambassador Program, and these students are already shining so bright. 🌟

This new initiative lifts up a handful of our multilingual learners and gives them meaningful ways to lead—welcoming new students and families, translating simple greetings, and representing the Wolfpack at future multilingual events.

We’re so proud of the heart, courage, and community spirit these ambassadors bring to our school. ❤️🐺

✨ Chalk Math in action! ✨ Miss Goldsmith and Mrs. Drummond’s class took their learning outside today and turned the sidewalk into a giant math playground. Colorful chalk, big smiles, and even bigger math thinking happening all around! 🧮🎨 Love seeing our Wolfpack make learning this fun! 🐺❤️

We are so thankful for Ms. Watson and her program that allows our almost-Wolfpack kiddos to visit and work on skills to get them ready for school! 🐾❤️This program brings so much joy, comfort, and connection to our students, and we love seeing the smiles they create. Ben chose to spend some of his monthly points to teach a grammar lesson to his classmates — all about the difference between imperative and exclamatory sentences! 💬✨ Way to go, Ben! 🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸 Today at Wellford Academy, we proudly celebrated our veterans — the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication. ❤️💙 Our morning began with breakfast to honor our guests, followed by a special program in the gym featuring heartfelt performances from our first graders, the Wellford Chorus, and inspiring research presentations from our third graders. We wrapped up this meaningful day with a mini photo shoot for our veterans and their students — a perfect way to capture the love and pride shared across generations. 📸 Thank you to all veterans for your service and sacrifice, and a special thank you to those who were able to join us today. 🥯 5th Grade Math Fun with “The Bagel King”! 🥯 Our 5th graders recently brought The Bagel King to life during math! Inspired by the story, students “shopped” at Wesley’s Bakery, selecting bagels, toppings, and drinks. They used their knowledge of decimal multiplication to find totals for each category, make estimates, and calculate tax. Students practiced multiple multiplication strategies while connecting math to a real-world situation. Of course, the best part came at the end — enjoying some delicious bagels and treats! 🧮✨
