ASVAB Test 4/01/25 - PRE Registration for Juniors & Seniors **SPACE IS LIMITED** The online ASVAB is being offered on our campus, Tuesday., April 1st, 2025, for Juniors & Seniors. Testing starts at 8:15 AM SHARP (taking up to 3 hours). Submit this Google Form to REQUEST testing. To COMPLETE your registration you MUST complete & return the ASVAB Parent Permission Form. (The form link is in this Google Form). A hard copy of the Parent Permission Form is also available from Ms. Sanders in Room #3314. SPACE IS LIMITED. HOSA's State Leadership Conference (SLC) was this past weekend where there were over 2,200 students competing. Damian Lopez and Chloe Allen finished 2nd in the state in with their Health Career Display. Andrew Rogers finished 3rd in the state in Dental Terminology. Kelsey Adams, Lauren Burger, and Kinsley Pearson finished 4th in the state in Medical Innovation. We are so incredibly proud of them!

Congratulations to our 2025 Employees of the Year at Byrnes High School! Our ADMIN TEAM surprised the following outstanding employees with recognition today: The SEOY for 2025 is Mrs. Amanda Stephens Crossley, main office receptionist. Mrs. Amanda ALWAYS greets guests with a smile! Congratulations! The TOY for 2025 is Mr. Tom Barber, Spanish teacher. Mr. Barber's classroom is engaging and exciting and his students often cite his class as their all-time favorite. Congratulations!

Reminder to those students who pre-registered for the ACT Test Prep. Workshop tomorrow, Friday, 3/07/2025. Pre-registered students should report to the Library (BEFORE the bell rings for 1st period) from 8:15 AM to 12:45 PM. Note: Attendance will be reported to the Front Office based on check-in & being present for the entire workshop. Participants will be released from the workshop (and to 4th Lunch) @ 12:45 PM. Please bring your Student ID AND your CHARGED laptop to the training. Each student is assigned to either the "MATH" or the "ENGLISH" topic for the first half of the workshop. Midway through the workshop students will switch to the other session topic.

Please mark your calendars. We are going to have onsite physicals through ReGenesis on during the school day at Byrnes High School on April 15th (8am-5pm). Students must bring their payment and completed sports physical forms with them at the time of their physical. No appointment needed. FYI: Each Middle School will have their own times at their schools as well.

One of our 11th grade students, Mr Kyle Garry, chose teacher appreciation as his Passion Project for Leadership Byrnes this semester. He is recognizing BHS teachers this week for their hard work with some breakfast and lunch items, donated by local business partners. Thank you Kyle for all you have poured into this project!!

Over 200 members of our Rebel Regiment competition band visited the state house on Tuesday to be recognized as 2024 SC State 6A Band Champions. What a good looking bunch of kids!
