This past Thursday, students at Byrnes High School experienced a taste of India as Chartwells Executive Chef, Chef Mike, prepared culturally traditional recipes from India.
Featuring Chicken Tikka Masala, Basmati Rice, Spiced Potatoes and Peas and Roasted Cauliflower; students were able to try something new and unique as they came through their normal serving line. Some students even came back asking for recipes to take home!
Developed by Chartwells chefs and dietitians with input from students, Global Eats turns food into a worldly adventure and encourages students to eat together and taste new foods and flavors while learning about different cultures.

HOSA fees ($40) are due to Mrs. Bracken (Room 1023) by next Friday, September 20. If you are interested in running for office, please see Mrs. Bracken by Wednesday, September 18!

Happy National Arts in Education Week! A cymbal 🥯 of our great band program is Director of Bands, Chris Moss! Success is when we get a repeat ||: performance from a band student who gets to then conduct the whole band as his own! 🎷🎺🥁🪈💃🎌

Happy National Arts in Education Week! We are going to end on a high note! Chorus Teacher, Stephen Gunter, certainly is a noteworthy addition to our staff!

Congratulations to our girl’s volleyball team on their second region win last night against Gaffney!
Our next home game is Tuesday, 9/24 vs Boiling Springs. The theme is USA, we would love your support!
Happy National Arts in Education Week! Mr. Phillip Cohen is our feature today. If you didn't know it already he is responsible for teaching our Color Guard. This is no small feat! He has to teach them to perform, smile, act, count, dance, toss and spin all while avoiding hitting people with flying objects or their own bodies.

Happy National Arts in Education Week! Our orchestra teacher, Kelsey Grant, is making music with our orchestra students and ensuring that their strings 🎻 in music last forever while infusing her love of music and teaching into each one!

Happy National Arts in Education Week! Our newest Associate Band Director, AJ Pace, works with the percussion students. He is a hi-hat addition to the staff and the Rebel Regiment is happy to have snare-d him!

Friday night lights might look a little different this year for our Rebels Roadwarriors but we have a good looking hometown crowd in the stands!
