What a great day to share all of our Friday night Rebels! Channel 7 WSPA was so happy to be on our campus and enjoyed talking with all of our fantastic students for a live broadcast. Many of our student organizations were showcased in this live broadcast include: Rebels Football team, Rebel Regiment, Rebel Royals, Byrnes Cheer, ROTC along with Student Council and Leadership Byrnes
As Coach Shaw said: "The popcorn is gonna be popping, the band is gonna be rocking, and the Rebels gonna be knocking!" Good luck to the Rebels tonight as we host the first playoff game! Go Rebels!

Friday night lights has two great opportunities for you! In addition to Round 1 of the playoffs for the Rebels, the Rebel Regiment will get one last full show in during half-time before they head off to the 5A state competition this weekend!

Mrs. Graham's Biology class played a hot seat class tournament as a genetics review game.





On Friday, our AVID elective students traveled to the University Center in Greenville for the College 101 Workshop. They attended sessions designed to help them prepare for college and met with representatives from several schools. Some of our students were also awarded preliminary acceptance and scholarships to attend South Carolina State University. What a great opportunity for our students!








Wrestling Season will begin Monday October 30 at Byrnes High School wrestling room for Boys and Girls.
Practices will be after school Monday-Friday 4:00-6:00.
Athletes must have a physical and all documents completed on planeths in order to participate.

Seniors who need online college application assistance are invited to one of three sessions offered (based on Lunch Assignments). Teachers have the CAD Session assignments.

Outcome: What a great day for our seniors! We had 393 applications submitted during this event. This was 89 more applications that last year. We served 187 seniors. This was 26 more students than last year.
Thank you to our Guidance Counselors for your HARD WORK answering questions & supporting these college-bound Seniors. Also to our Librarians for the hospitality. Thanks to Ms. Greenway for supporting this event (& for providing lunch!). Also thank you to our Front Office Staff & JROTC for always making Byrnes SHINE! Admissions Representatives from (9) colleges were here to guide & inspire our Seniors. (Couldn't do it without them!) And of course our Career Development Facilitators for putting all of this together!
