For today, 1/21/25:
All OUTDOOR after school activities scheduled for today have been cancelled. No students should be outdoors after school for any practices or rehearsals.
All INDOOR after school activities may continue, but must be complete and dismissed no later than 5:30pm.
The girls BB/boys BB games scheduled for tonight at home vs RIVERSIDE have been postponed and will be re-scheduled in the near future.
Students interested in Cosmetology please be advised. Due to extreme weather this evening, RD Anderson postponed the mandatory meeting for Cosmetology to next Tuesday, January 28.
This week in athletics, updated.
Due to a winter storm watch issued by the National Weather Service, all District Five Schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 10. ❄️ Friday, January 10 will be an e-Learning day for all District Five students. 💻 This decision was made in the best interest of safety for all D5 students and staff, as snow, sleet and ice is predicted by late Friday morning, and roads will likely be unsafe for buses, families or student drivers to travel 🚌❄️🚗
Teachers will be in touch with students regarding all e-Learning assignments 📚📝. All after school and weekend activities are also canceled.📆

This weekend the Rebel Wrestlers traveled all over the place. Varsity traveled to Eastside for one of the toughest tournaments in the south east, The Southern Slam Invitational, JV traveled to the West Oak Invitational, and the Girls traveled to Woodruff for the Wolverine Round Robin Tournament.
