Your Lady Rebels volleyball team has been quite busy! Thursday October 10 both the JV and Varsity teams defeated Eastside! Monday October 14 they defeated Wade Hampton earning a region record of 8-2! Last night, Tuesday October 15 they defeated Spartan High! The next home game is Tuesday, 10/22 against Dorman! JV at 5:30 and V at 7:00.

The Rebel Regiment Family has asked for the District 5 community to join together today to welcome back our Bands of America Carolina Regional Champions, our own Rebel Regiment! "These students have worked so hard for this. They show up for our community, for the football team, for everyone all the time. Now, let’s be there for them. They should arrive around 4:30. Please line up along Main Street in the Founders parking lot. Bring signs or just yourselves and be ready to cheer as the busses drive by on their way to unload in the band loop! ** Just please do not block or be in the band loop/front drive! Or gate on the side to get in. They will need to get the trucks through to unload.** We’d love to have teachers, fellow students, Byrnes teams, and admin to show support. Due to the impact of the storm, all 2024 Homecoming events have been rescheduled to take place throughout the week of October 21 - October 25 and the Homecoming Dance will now take place on October 26. During the week of Homecoming, Thursday, October 24 will include: 1) A Senior Jamboree will take place during 4th period. All students will report to REBS for 4th block. REBS 4 students will attend the Jamboree and this event will include the Jostens cap and gown meeting. 🎓 2) Our annual Homecoming Parade will take place after school at 4:30 PM. 3) A Half Time at Home event will take place in Schofield Gym at 6:30 PM. At this event our 2024 Homecoming court will be presented and the Queen will be crowned. 👑 On Friday, October 25, we will host our annual FLEX Student vs. Faculty Basketball game in Schofield Gym. 🏀 On Saturday, October 26, Student Council will host our first annual Homecoming Dance. 💃🕺 Please continue collecting items for the food drive competition to support MTCC. 🥫 🥫🥫 Please take a moment during your classes to share the UPDATED attached flyers that detail the Homecoming Week Activities, including our food drive competitions, dress days, jamboree and parade. The recent storm has brought many challenges to our school and our community. We realize many are still without essential resources. This has been VERY hard on everyone! We are looking forward to welcoming students back to campus tomorrow. The morning bell schedule has been shortened as follows: 10:15-10:45 1st period 10:51-11:21 2nd period (resume regular schedule for the remainder of the day) Please note the following scheduling information: -Shuttles between BHS/BFA: No shuttles will run in the AM during 1st and 2nd. Shuttles will run normally for 3rd and 4th periods. -RDA and MSC: No AM students will report to RDA or MSC campuses. Students on campus during these times will report to the cafeteria. PM students will report to RDA or MSC as scheduled, at normal times. Parents, please check your email for additional details.
