Spartanburg County Voter Registration & Elections is seeking BHS students willing to serve as poll manager assistants in the November 4, 2025 General Election.
The minimum age is 16 years old.
There is an application that can be picked up from either Ms. Sanders (#3314) or Ms. Malcolm (#3313).
The deadline to return completed applications is 9/17/25.

We hope you enjoyed the first preview of this season's band show at the football game last Friday! 90's Mix Tape is phenomenal! Band will have a few activities this month including a big night at Meet the Rebel Regiment! Come out and check out the show and see what our band is made of! Orchestra also has a few activities happening while visual arts has reserve art hanging in the Fine Arts Center for the next month or so!

Our guest Ms. Vicki Norman, the SCC Dual Enrollment Success coach, visits our campus weekly. Her first FLEX for this year was on Thursday August 28th. She will be on campus Thursdays, for students to attend mini workshops and study groups. On Mondays, she will be able to meet with students one-on-one.

Please see one of the teachers for more information and registration forms. The Mandatory Parent Meeting is on September 22nd at 6:00pm and all participants must have a current physical.
Students can get this information from Coach Holcombe during all four lunches today.

Please check your email from Mr. Pachter to sign up for the PSAT given here at Byrnes on October 14th. The test is free to all 10th grade students. 11th grade students are also encouraged to take the PSAT but will need to pay a $15 registration fee. Sign up today because the last day to sign up is September 12th.
