Who doesn’t love a shopping spree?! Fourth graders practiced their knowledge of estimating sums as they participated in an imaginary shopping spree. They used reasoning skills to determine if it made more sense to round prices to the nearest ten or hundred and then tried to spend exactly $3,000! We love seeing our students connect math to real-life situations!

🎨The following students have artwork that has been selected for display in the District 5 Art Show at the Chapman Cultural Center in downtown Spartanburg: Dominika Serhiichuk (1st Grade), Brandon Mejia Perez (2nd Grade), Michael Gibson (3rd Grade), Bernardo Gasca Zuniga (4th Grade), and Roxalana Draga (5th Grade). 🎨
The show will run through November 1st and will be located in the Student Galleries.

📚✨ Today Mrs. Cielinski's 4K classroom was buzzing with excitement as our little learners dove into the "All About Me" project! Each child brought in a special bag filled with items that represent who they are, and they couldn't wait to share with their friends. From favorite toys to family photos, these bags were full of personality and pride. It’s incredible to see our students learning about themselves and each other in such a fun and meaningful way!
