Star knows getting at least 10 hours of sleep every night helps you feel good and keeps your heart and brain healthy over time. Being active during the day and having a nice wind down routine at night (like reading or journaling) can help you get a good night’s rest! http://www2.heart.org/goto/RiverRidge

Improving and maintaining cardiovascular health can help you and your family enjoy a longer, healthier life. An easy first step to eating healthy is to include color at every meal. Fill your plate with lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and some dairy products. All colors count, so go ahead and add color to your plate – and your life. To learn more about how to build a healthy lifestyle for you and your family, visit http://www2.heart.org/goto/RiverRidge.

This past weekend, five of River Ridge's finest took the stage at the SC Music Educators Association's conference. These girls were part of an auditioned choir and sang with over 150 other students from across our state. They sang beautifully and represented our school and district honorably. RRES and Mrs. Hughes are VERY proud of them!
