Mrs. Cobb's class is "RED"-y to celebrate Red Ribbon 🎀 Week!

Thank you, River Ridge Elementary School PTO and families, for the yummy Popcorn Bar you provided today for our faculty and staff! A big thanks to the PTO volunteers, Betsy Call, Sam Powers, and Haley Grant, who set it up and made sure everyone had plenty to eat.

🚨Last chance to donate before our Fun Run! 🚨🙏 We have a stretch goal of $30,000, and if we hit that goal, Mr. Cegelis and Mrs. Wilson will run an obstacle course in inflatable suits! Every donation, no matter what size, makes a HUGE impact on our school! #supportourschool #thankyou

We are SO CLOSE! If we hit our school goal, Mr. Cegelis and Mrs. Wilson will get SLIMED, so let's keep up the great work! Also, check out this year’s BONUS PRIZE - your student can earn it this weekend and this weekend ONLY!

Today Mrs. Huss’ class studied Election Day. They talked about why it is a holiday, who can vote, what are polling places and where are they found. Students even made their own campaign posters! 💙❤️

Mrs. Eitel’s and Mrs. Steven’s class combined learning about the letter C and comparing numbers with a “snacktivity” -a cookie taste test! They then graphed their choices and compared the results!

Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Moore’s class have been hard at work during writing time. We have been learning about sentence structure such as finger spacing, capital letters, and punctuation. Students put their knowledge to the test by creating books about the color RED this week! We had some special visitors come so students could publish their books. Awesome job authors and illustrators!❤️🌹🎈🍓🍒🚗
