Mrs. Cleveland's class played the card game war to practice comparing numbers. The player with the most dots on their card got to keep both cards. They played until someone ends up with all the cards. Playing with a purpose helps us learn!

Our Independence Day was a great success! Our K5 students did a fantastic job of coming in on their own and heading straight down the hallway to their classrooms.
Mrs Cobb’s ELA classes got a library refresh on Friday with some library mapping! After the activity, they checked out their first library books of the school year.

Mrs. Cleveland's class was excited to welcome a special guest! As part of their community helper unit, they were able to visit with a firefighter.







Mrs. Cloonan's class worked on goal setting with a growth mindset after reading The Magical Yet.




Monday is Independence Day for K4 and K5 students! These students will enter the building on their own in the morning from the carline. Faculty and staff members will be stationed in the hallways to ensure these students arrive safely to their classrooms.

Throughout the week, Hembree’s Happy Herd has been discovering their math superpowers! 💫 From counting to problem-solving, these number heroes are learning just how much they can do with their amazing math minds! 🦸♀️➕🌟










Mrs. Huss' students are making connections and building a classroom community this week with a special "Getting to Know You" activity.



This first week has been fabulous for the fourth graders in Ms. Mata's class!










Flying high on the first day in Mrs. Bradley's class! 🦋 They read the book, "Butterflies on the First Day of School". They learned meeting new people and telling them about ourselves helps get rid of our “butterflies” and make new friends. To help conquer those first day flutters, they colored pictures of themselves. Then wrote and shared things about themselves and others. 🦋







Mrs. Bembenek's class is off and learning! They practiced math facts using dice. Each roll of the dice created addends students used to write math fact and determine the sum.




Our 2025-2026 School Year is off to a fantastic start. We had the best First Day! 🐼
