Need some sunshine for this rainy week? No worry, we've got you covered! Recently, several of our second through fifth grade rockets helped create a bright sunshine mural in art class with Mrs. Brown and Ms. Andrews! The mural is hanging outside of the cafeteria, near the gym. Way to go, Rockets!!

Congratulations are again in order for several of our Reidville Rockets! We are so proud of announce these girls as part of the South Carolina Elementary School STATE Choir! This is an honor and they will be participating in the SC Elementary Chorus this winter. Way to go, girls!

Last week, Mrs. Millan’s fifth graders experimented with different mixtures to test the solubility of the solutes in a solvent. 🧪 Hands on science makes learning so fun! 🚀

Congratulations to our students who were selected out of 369 students across South Carolina. They will be traveling to Coastal Carolina University in January!

As a reward for awesome behavior during the first 9 weeks, some of Mrs. Carovillano and Mrs. Reeves’ students got to have a musical jam session with Mrs. Smith! They had a blast! 🥁 🎶 🚀

First graders went on a magical adventure to Stewart Farms in search of the perfect fall pumpkin! 🎃 They learned about the growth cycle of pumpkins big and small! 🌱 Thank you Stewart Farms for hosting our littles! 🚀

RED Week is our alternative to Red Ribbon Week. This is a week of fun theme days that reinforce the messages we're teaching about the courage to stand up for yourself, along with reinforcing healthy choices.

Ben, one of Mr. Darnell's fifth graders, was inspired in STEM after learning about DaVinci bridges and decided to build his own! 🚀

The first nine weeks of school, Mrs. Boyter’s friends learned about the importance of their names and that everyone has a story! We worked with Play-doh, made one important word bracelets, and wrote about our families and our school!

Last week, Mrs. Coons and Mrs. Collins fifth grade classes had an exceptionally delicious Thursday in preparation of no school on Fry-day (pun intended). 🍟 Thank you McDonalds of Duncan for coming out and helping our fifth graders with their claims and opinions writing assignment! ✍️ Students were given the opportunity to speak with Ms. Courtney (Manager) and ask questions to help support their project.

Mrs. Mooneyhan’s 1st grade class put on their detective glasses today to solve addition equations with missing addends! We had so much fun solving for the unknown mystery addend! 🕵️

Drama 🎭 is working hard on their lines!

Camp Flintlock came to take our fourth graders back to the 1700's for the day!
