Congratulations Anglers! The Byrnes Rebels Fishing Team had two Top 10 High School finishes and finished 3rd place overall this weekend at the PBC Tournament on Lake Hartwell.

Applications for the Spanish National Honor Society are due today with parent and counselor signatures along with the $30 membership fee.

We have Ms. Jo Ann Dovi, Financial Aid Specialist from USC Upstate, on-site in the media center today from 8:30am - 2:00pm. She can also help with admissions. She will be here weekly on Tuesdays.
The Senior Admissions Counselor, Harry Cochran, from Spartanburg Methodist College was in cafeteria today. He will be here again for his next visit in the Rebel Café on Tuesday, October 7th during all four lunches.
Please check your email from Mr. Pachter (sent the week of August 25th) to sign up for the PSAT given here at Byrnes on October 14th. The test is free to all 10th grade students. 11th grade students are also encouraged to take the PSAT but will need to pay a $15 registration fee. Sign up now because the last day to sign up is September 12th.
Seniors attended an informational session by Guidance about scholarship access, IGP appointments (final meeting now open for scheduling), FAFSA, senior information, transcripts, announcements and opportunities and much much more!
