Wrestling Season begins today!!! Practice will run 4:00-6:00 at Byrnes HS wrestling room. Any athlete wanting to give wrestling a shot must have a physical and all PlanetHS submissions must be complete to participate.

Varsity and JV Basketball Tryouts will be held Wednesday November 5th from 5:30-7:00 and Thursday November 6th from 4:00-5:30 in the main Gym. Please complete Big Teams link below in order to try out. Athletes who are trying out for basketball should log on to Big Teams: studentcentral.bigteams.com and fill out the medical paperwork. Both athlete and parents must create accounts, and once paperwork is complete sign and submit at the bottom of each form. Athletes will need to upload a current physical, the date of exam from the doctor must be on or after 4/1/25.

Leadership Byrnes and Teacher Cadet students worked hard to prepare for a Movie Themed Trunk or Treat this past Tuesday, night for our faculty/staff families. 🎃🍫🍬What a fun night!

Help send off the reigning 6A Marching Band State Champions on Saturday. Be sure to get on over to Spartanburg High School to see what all the fuss is about! The Rebel Regiment will perform Dreams and Schemes at 2:45pm during preliminary competition. Finals will be held later in the evening, with line-ups and times based on prelim scores. The band has been very busy lately--competing at the Bands of America Ballad Health East Tennessee Regional in Johnson City, TN on 10/18 and in the Bands of America Super Regional in Indianapolis, IN on 10/24 and 10/25. The marching band is led by Mr Chris Moss, Mr Tom Padgett, Mr Jarrod Mabrey, Mr AJ Pace, and Mr Philip Cohen.
