It’s THAT time of year! Artzapalooza 2025!! We have brought the D5 Fine Arts lobby to life with hundreds of artworks from our talented BHS students. You can see the exhibit during scheduled events or come check it out at the closing reception in a few weeks!


The Student vs Faculty Basketball game will take place tomorrow during FLEX. Students will need to buy a ticket for $1. Tickets can be purchased today during lunch, in Room 3341 (Poore), or Room 1325 (Swope Springr). Tickets will be sold until the end of 1st period on Wednesday. Students will need to have a ticket to enter.


SCC is hosting an upcoming FAFSA workshop on May 3rd.

Decision Day 2025 was a huge success! A special thank you to all the college and military reps who joined us! Congratulations Rebels!











HOSA raised money and made Easter baskets for the residents of Ashlan Village retirement community in Lyman. They delivered them on Friday. 🐰 What a sweet way for our students to end their week, putting smiles on these residents' faces!






Congratulations to our 4x100m team (Jacobi Fuller, Aiden Wiggins, Abram Burroughs and Chanin Harris) in BREAKING the school record last week! The school record was 41.76 set back in 2017 and running a time of 41.59!!!!!! Let's Go Byrnes Track and Field.
Our boys team had a 3rd place overall finish out of 16 schools in the County Meet and our girls team had a 4th place finish overall.


Reminder, Junior Leadership Greer applications are available for rising Sophomores and Juniors. The applications to Ms. Hartfield are due May 16th.
Junior Leadership Greer is an exciting program for high school sophomores and juniors designed to develop informed, committed, and qualified young people capable of providing dynamic leadership in their schools and in the Greer Community as they grow and mature into adulthood.


GET AHEAD OF THE GAME sign up for the High School to Healthcare Summer Program. For one week this summer, get ahead of the game with hands-on experience at Spartanburg Regional. Sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in a healthcare career are invited to apply. The application deadline is May 3, 2025.

Several students from BHS, RD Anderson and Master Skills Center attended a Construction Hiring Event at USC Upstate today! Students were able to connect with local businesses in the construction industry to discuss their skills and learn about potential opportunities for employment and/or internships! Thanks to Dr. Josie Ivey and Coach Kevin Wyatt for accompanying students to this awesome event!
