Congratulations to our DRH Band students on an outstanding performance at the 2026 SCBDA Solo and Ensemble! Students traveled to Dorman High School to perform solos, duets, trios, and quartets for judges. We are proud to share that they earned 12 Superior ratings and 1 Excellent rating. We are especially impressed by their dedication, as they prepared these pieces almost entirely on their own—practicing before school, after school, and in their free time. Way to go, Tigers! 🎶

Today for Earth Day, Garden Club, Cafeteria, and Ms. Cotterman’s 1st period worked together to make sure every student had seeds to plant, so every student has a chance to grow. These seeds were saved from our own gardens and our school’s native pollinator garden.

Garden Club and Beta Club students visited Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve for a hands-on learning experience connected to science and community service. In the fall, students worked together to prepare an area to make it more accessible for visitors using wheelchairs and strollers. During the visit today, they were able to observe the impact of their efforts and see how their work benefits others.
