As we look ahead to the start of 2026, please mark your calendars for the opening of District Five’s Limited School Choice application window.  We know many of you might need this information, particularly if your child attends District Five through our out-of-district process, which is considered a form of school choice.

• Application Window:

  January 6 - February 13, 2026

• How to Apply:

  Families, and all eligible staff members, will have to complete the application through the PowerSchool parent portal, once the window opens.

• Important Note:

  As in previous years, all families must submit a new application each year, including those currently approved for limited school choice or out-of-district status.

We will have more information for you in the coming weeks, but wanted to remind you to mark your calendars now, so you can plan ahead.
