Please help us in congratulating our Honor Band Students on their CPA performance!
Yesterday, our 6th grade Honor Band students travelled to Fountain Inn High School to perform for the SCBDA Concert Performance Assessment. This event includes a stage performance of 3 prepared pieces as well as a sight reading piece that they have never seen before! Our students received an overall rating of SUPERIOR at this event!
We are so proud of their accomplishments and their hard work over the last few months! It’s hard to believe that this is the last Berry Shoals Band EVER that will get to go to CPA!

Come join us for a special evening of featured artwork, dramatized performances, and choral presentations! Our students have been working hard all school year, and would be thrilled to have your support at MAD About the Arts Night!"

Twenty violin and viola players from Berry Shoals had a blast participating in the SC ASTA Violin & Viola Choir at North Greenville University this past weekend! The students learned instrument-specific technique and performed with a choir of over 80 violin and viola players. What an awesome opportunity for our orchestra students!

Congratulations to the following students on successful region band auditions:
Liam Wideman - 5th Chair Tuba (All-State callback)
Morgan Burgess- 1st Alternate Bassoon
Ethan Pegram - 5th Alternate Trombone
We are so proud of these students! It is a huge accomplishment to make region band as a 6th grader as you compete mainly against 7th and 8th graders! They represented our school and community well at their auditions. They will participate in the region band clinic on February 23rd and 24th at Spartanburg High School. Their final concert will be at 3:00 on the 24th. Please come out and support these amazing students if you can!

Happy Board Member Appreciation Month!!! Berry Shoals Intermediate School had a special visitor last week, board member, Mrs. Meredith Gergley!! We are so grateful for Mrs. Gergley and all the D5 board members for all they do for us here in District Five Schools!!

Congratulations to RJ Sawyer, this year’s Spelling Bee winner 🥇 , and Giroux Morelock, runner up! 🥈They will represent Berry Shoals at the Regional Spelling 🐝 very soon! Also a big congratulations to all the hallway spelling bee participants!! They were all fantastic spellers!!!
